NEW PACKAGING MACHINE FOR HEAVY PRODUCTS - Nuova serie di imballatrici SISCO per cartoni piani FEFCO 0443

 Oltre alla linea completa di cui al post precedente ,è stata sviluppata da Siscodata anche un imballatrice sempre per prodotti pesanti (motori elettrici ) che necessitano di un imballo ecologico e sicuro.Imballo quindi che deve essere estremamente robusto ; per questi prodotti è stata sviluppata un ulteriore versione senza parti in plastica come film o nastri adesivi ,sviluppando un derivato del modello di cartone FEFCO 0443 ,in modo da avere un imballo ecologico e riciclabile.

In questo caso la nuova linea di imballo (upgrade di una precedente di un noto produttore di motori elettrici con peso fino a 35 kg) che utilizza 2 robot con bracci lunghi ed ampia portata  di payload .

 In addition to the complete line mentioned in the previous post, Siscodata has also developed a packaging machine for heavy products (electric motors) that require an ecological and safe packaging. For these products has been developed a further version without plastic parts such as film or adhesive tape, developing a derivative of the cardboard model FEFCO 0443, in order to have a packaging environmentally friendly and recyclable. In this case, the new packaging line (upgrade of a previous one of a well-known manufacturer of electric motors weighing up to 35 kg) using 2 robots with long arms and wide payload capacity.

AGV logistica nella cartotecnica oltre che robot palletizzatore - New AGV logistic application connecting multiple palletizer robot to one stretch wrapper

 Seguendo la sua politica di introduzione nel settore cartotecnico di robot e AGV , Siscodata ha realizzato con un cliente nell'area veneta un triplice palletizzatore  robot che  vengono serviti in un' altra  stanza da un sistema avvolgi pallet con film estensibile.

Per evitare di occupare spazio a terra e bloccare la circolazione nell'area con una serie  di rulliere o trasporti meccanici si sono collegate le 3 aree robot alla comune avvolgi film tramite dei percorsi virtuali di una navetta automatica  robotizzata .L' AGV viene richiamato dalla presenza di un pallet pronto in uscita dal un robot palletizzatore .l'AGV che in tempi morti si reca da solo in posizione HOME di ricarica delle batterie ,viene richiamato e carica il pallet andando poi a scaricarlo sul l'avvolgifilm ,aprendo in modo automatico la porta di separazione tra le  stanze .

Following its policy of introducing robots and AGVs in the paper industry, Siscodata has realized with a customer near Venice area a triple robot palletizers that are served in another room by a unique  pallet wrapping system with stretch film.

To avoid occupying space on the ground and block the circulation in the area with a series of roller conveyors and  mechanical transports, the 3 robot areas are connected to the common film wrapper through the virtual paths of an automatic robotic shuttle. 

The AGV is recalled by the presence of a pallet ready to leave the robot palletizer. 

The AGV, which in downtime goes alone in the HOME position to recharge the batteries, is recalled to the pallet ready point and loads the pallet going then to unload it on the film wrapper,after having automatically opening the door of separation between the rooms.

Pallettizzazione di un intero strato di sacchi o confezioni termoretratte di farina - Palletization of a whole layer of bags or thermo-shrinked packages of flour

Siscodata ha realizzato per un cliente croato operante nel campo della panetteria un impianto di pallettizzazione robotizzato per sacchetti da 1 kg e da 5 kg di farina.

La caratteristica principale di questo sistema automatizzato riguarda, oltre allo spazio ridotto (7 metri x 5,5 metri), la manipolazione di un intero strato di prodotti e il suo conseguente deposito sul pallet con alta produttività in termini di chilogrammi mossi. 
Il cliente lavora con 2 tipologie di prodotti, anche contemporaneamente, ovvero sacchi di farina da 5 kg l'uno e pacchi termoretratti di 10 sacchetti da 1 kg in matrice 2x5, di qui un'ulteriore complessità da gestire.

L'area di pallettizzazione si compone di 2 linee di nastri di trasporto di ingresso in acetalico sopraelevati (ad una altezza di circa 2 metri da terra), una per ogni prodotto, e di 2 linee per la formatura dei pallet. I pacchi termoretratti, stretti e ben tesi, vengono orientati e accumulati in modo da comporre lo strato ed essere poi prelevati dal robot e deposti sul pallet in una sola presa. I sacchi singoli, invece, vengono “suddivisi” lungo il trasporto e preparati al prelievo tramite tavola compattatrice. Per entrambi i prodotti il robot antropomorfo di Comau, un PAL con 180 kg di payload e 3 metri di braccio, effettua una presa multipla (ovvero più di un sacco/pacco viene preso in un solo prelievo senza che vengano così stressate le sue meccaniche) tramite la sua speciale pinza multi-utensile e multi-funzione realizzata in fibra di carbonio nelle parti più importanti.

Gli strati vengono posizionati su un Euro pallet di legno, il quale viene distribuito sulle 2 rispettive rulliere motorizzate tramite distributore automatico di pallet (APD cioè Automatic Pallet Distributor) contenente una pila di circa 10-12 pallet di legno vuoti e  con un trasporto pop-up a 90°, per andare nel punto di formatura del pallet. E' previsto il posizionamento di un cartone interstrato protettivo tra il pallet di legno e il primo strato di prodotti che viene posizionato in automatico tramite robot (il magazzino cartoni interstrato è anch'esso sopraelevato). E' altresì prevista, prima del punto di formatura pallet, una posizione di buffer per 1 pallet in modo da ottimizzare i tempi di pallettizzazione.

Una volta terminato il pallet, il robot lo “libera” e lo fa uscire tramite le barriere ottiche in muting affinchè, in tutta sicurezza, l'operatore possa rimuoverlo.

For a Croatian customer operating in the bakery field, Siscodata has created a robotic palletizing system for 1 kg bags and 5 kg bags of flour. The main characteristic of this automated system concerns, in addition to the reduced space (7 meters x 5,5 meters) occupied, the handling of an entire layer of products and its deposit on the pallet with high productivity in terms of kilograms moved.

The customer works with 2 types of products, even simultaneously, that is 5 kg bags and thermoshrinked packs of 10 bags of 1 kg each in matrix 2x5, a further complexity to manage.

The palletizing area consists of 2 lines of overhead acetalic transport conveyors (at a height of about 2 meters from floor), one for each product, and 2 lines for pallet forming. The thermoshrink packs, tight and well-stretched, are oriented and accumulated to form the layer; then the complete layer is picked up by the robot and placed on the pallet in only one pick. The single bags, on the other hand, are "divided" along the transport and prepared for the picking by a compacting table. For both products the Comau anthropomorphic robot, a PAL model with 180 kg payload and 3 meters of arm, performs a multiple pick (in other words more than one bag/pack is taken in a single pick without stressing its mechanics) through its special multi-tool and multi-function gripper made, in the most important parts, in carbon fiber.

The layers are placed on a wooden Euro pallet, which is distributed on the 2 respective motorized roller conveyors through an automatic pallet distributor (APD), containing a stack of about 10-12 empty wooden pallets, and with a pop-up 90° transport to go to the erecting point. It is foreseen the insertion of a protective cardboard interlayer between the wooden pallet and the first layer of products that is positioned in automatic by the robot (also the interlayer carton silos is overhead from floor). It is also foreseen, before the pallet forming point, a buffer position for 1 empty pallet in order to optimize the palletizing cycle.

Once the pallet is finished, the robot "releases" the pallet and lets it exit through the optical barriers in muting so the operator can remove it in safety.

Esoscheletro MATE di Comau - MATE exoskeleton by Comau

MATE è un nuovo esoscheletro industriale di COMAU che sostanzialmente aumenta le capacità fisiche di chi lo indossa e contemporaneamente riduce lo stress fisico e i movimenti torcenti della parte lombare della schiena (in particolare sul disco L5/S1) in media del 50% nel soggetto che lo indossa mentre solleva oggetti, si curva o si allunga. 
Il MATE riduce lo sforzo di chi lo indossa e può ridurre il rischio di lesioni della schiena tra i lavoratori. Progettato per essere indossato per tutto il giorno, il MATE non interferisce con i movimenti naturali e chi lo indossa può camminare, salire e scendere le scale, muoversi in magazzino ed eseguire tutte le operazioni quotidiane senza alcun tipo di restrizione.

Caratteristiche:

• Riduzione dello sforzo sulla schiena: riduce la compressione sulla spina dorsale all'altezza del disco L5/S1 in media del 50%. In pratica è come se si evitasse di movimentare e sollevare 2 pallet da 1000 bottiglie d'acqua da 1 litro.
• Nessuna interferenza nei movimenti: chi indossa il MATE può camminare, salire e scendere le scale, muoversi in magazzino ed eseguire tutte le operazioni senza alcun tipo di restrizione
• Rigido: progettato per resistere a ambienti industriali, il MATE è a prova di polvere e non necessita di continua manutenzione.

Essa cresce quando l'operatore che indossa l'esoscheletro alza le braccia mentre si avvicina allo zero quando le braccia si abbassano. Tutto ciò permette a chi lo indossa di abbassare le braccia normalmente o di prendere gli attrezzi dalla cintura.
• Distribuzione del peso: il MATE trasferisce la forza dalle braccia alle anche ai fianchi e alla zona lombare costringendo l'operatore a posizioni e movimenti più ergonomici. 
• Profilo Antropometrico: segue il corpo di chi lo indossa in modo di inserirsi in spazi stretti e cambiamenti di ambiente.
• Leggero: Il MATE pesa meno di 4 kg.

Uno studio medico dimostra i vantaggi dell'esoscheletro. 

Lo spazio subacromiale si riduce con l'età ed è subordinato a cambiamenti posturali, l'esoscheletro aiuta persone predisposte per queste patologie a evitarle o ritardarle.

Kit "salva schiena" (BS):

La combinazione di un esoscheletro MATE con una piattaforma elevatrice permette all'operatore di lavorare nelle migliori condizioni ergonomiche durante la fase manuale di pallettizzazione senza avere problemi alla schiena sfruttando l'aiuto ottimizzato del MATE.

Il kit "salva schiena" (BS) permette di esaltare le performance dell'esoscheletro nell'alleviare il lavoro e le problematiche dei lavoratori in operazioni usuranti e ripetitive su linee senza una sufficiente produttività e con cambi di lotto molto frequenti, che non giustificano quindi l'inserimento di un robot in termini di ritorno dell'investimento. L'operatore con questo sistema lavora con un'altezza fissa ergonomica ottimale di 800 mm circa, in quanto non piega le ginocchia o la schiena nel pallettizzare/depallettizzare: è il pallet ad adeguarsi all'altezza di lavoro dell'operatore mantenendo l'altezza di prelievo/deposito costante. Una possibile opzione che viene integrata nell'esoscheletro permette il controllo remoto dell'elevatore.

The combination of a Mate exoskeleton with a lifting platform allows the operator to work in the best ergonomic conditions during the manual palletizing phase without back problems exploiting the optimized help of the Mate.

The BS "back saver" kit allows to exalt the performances of the exoskeleton in relieving the work and the worker's problems that arise from strenuous and repetitive operations on lines that lack productivity and with very frequent lot changes, that do not therefore justify the purchase of a robot in terms of return on investment. The operator with this system works at a fixed optimal ergonomic height of approximately 800 mm as he/she does not bend the knees or the back during the loading/unloading of the pallet: it is the pallet that adapts itself to the height of the operator working height, maintaining constant the load/unload height. A possible option, that can be integrated in the exoskeleton, allows to control the lifter.

Pallettizzatore con robot collaborativo UR10 di confezioni di deodoranti in spazi ridottissimi / Palletizer with UR10 collaborative robot for packages of deodorants in a very small area

Siscodata ha realizzato un sistema di pallettizzazione con robot collaborativo UR10 (Universal Robots) per confezioni di deodoranti e aftershave, sia scatole americane che bundle termoretratti, in un spazio minuscolo (2 metri x 2,5 metri).

Le scatole o i bundle di prodotti arrivano SSL (Short Side Leading - dal lato corto) e vengono compattate per formare una matrice. Il robot collaborativo UR10 preleva tramite pinza a vuoto (con presa multipla) la matrice di confezioni pronte per essere pallettizzate. Il robot dispone le confezioni in base alla configurazione programmata. Terminato lo strato del pallet, il robot preleva dall'apposito silos il cartone interfalda. Dopodiché, il robot ricomincia a pallettizzare le confezioni di prodotto fino a completare lo stato. Il ciclo si ripete con l'inserimento del cartone interfalda e la successiva pallettizzazione di prodotti fino al completamento del pallet. Gli angolari di cartone e il coperchio, come anche la nastratura di fissaggio, sono applicati a mano, ma solo dopo l'estrazione dall'area del pallet completo. E' sempre l'operatore ad inserire il nuovo pallet per il nuovo riempimento.

Siscodata has realized a palletizer system using the UR10 collaborative robot (Universal Robots) for packages of deodorants and aftershaves, both American carton boxes and thermoshrunk film bundles, in a tiny space (2 meters x 2,5 meters).

The product boxes or bundles arrive SSL (Short Side Leading) and are compacted to form a matrix. The UR10 collaborative robot picks through its vacuum gripper (with a multiple-pick) the packages matrix ready for the palletization. The robot arranges the products according to the programmed configuration. Once the pallet layer is completed, the robot picks from the silos the cardboard interlayer. After that, the robot restart to palletize the packages of product up the layer has been completed. The cycle is repeated with the insertion of the cardboard interlayer and the subsequent products palletization to complete the pallet. The carton corner and the cover, as well as the fixing taping, is applied by the operator, but only when the complete pallet is extracted from the area. The operator will put the new empty pallet in the area for the new cycle.

INTERPACK 2017 (Hall 15, booth B55)

Siscodata this year will cooperate with SIAT S.p.A. (Group M.J. Maillis) into Interpack 2017 fair, the world’s leading trade fair that takes place in Düsseldorf.

Siscodata here presents a new product SIS316 robotic packaging module filler developed in collaboration with SIAT S.p.A.

The unit fill up the empty space in the Maillis SIAT range of machines between the new carton erector and the top sealer. After have been formed, the box arrives to Siscodata filler module in which the Comau Racer 7 starts the filling with 2 layer of "brutti & buoni" ("ugly and good") special biscuits pack. Once the box is completely filled, then it goes to the SIAT sealer machine.

The SIS316 filler module can handle different type of materials at a speed up to 85 ppm depending on matrix/array size depositing also layer over layer with paper-carton separator interlayer. In the show the application will run with a 6 axis Comau Racer but could be realized also with the new scara Comau Rebel.

Special attention has been put in reducing the footprint of the whole system (carton former + filler + sealer) that is about 5mt x 2.5 mt.

The robot lifting payload is, in this case, 7 kg max. but Comau has a wide range of lifting payload robots (i.e. 3 kg to 40 kg and more) that allow to handle products of different weight. In addition, the robots can have different gripper system such as with vacuum or with mechanical fin fish fingers. Special attention has been put in the development of food product handling system from salami slice to pasta and bakery.

Of course, after the sealing, the closed box can be palletizing with robot.

Innovation palletizer of textile rolls with robot running on slide +AGV .Innovativo palletizzzatore di rotoli di tessuto con robot mobile su slitta

Siscodata ha realizzato a Los Angeles un innovativo impianto di palletizzazione basato su robot COMAU PAL da 260 kg e 3 metri di braccio.Il robot è dotato di robusta pinza in acciaio INOX in grado di sollevare e posizionare con delicatezza rotoli di piu di 2000 mm di lunghezza e 70 kg.

I pallet in plastica rinforzata con barre di ferro sono fuori standard europeo da 1400 x 1400 mm.

L' area robot risulta collegata da un unita' di singolarizzazione alla macchina di imballo ed i rotoli in arrivo mischiati come colore ed SKU vengono identificati in ingresso da un sistema ID di scanner laser che creano il link alla posizione pallet.

Nella successiva stazione il robot montato su una slitta motorizzata che è configurata come suo asse aggiunto garantendo così un alta velocità e brusche accelerazioni.

Una volta che i pallet di tipo "cross" sono completati vengono scaricati ed inviati con AGC (automatic Guided Cart) alle docking areas di spedizione.

Nella impianto sono gestite 8 aree di palletizzazione per altrettanti SKU tramite 2 AGV.

L'area puo' essere facilmate trasformata per gestire 8 differenti SKU e pallet mono prodotto di scatole o bundles. 

  

Siscodata realized recently  in Los Angeles an innovative system based on palletizing robot COMAU PAL 260 kg with 3 meters arm.Thel robot is equipped with  a robust stainless steel gripper tool that can lift and place gently rolls of more than 2000 mm length and 70 kg weight.

The plastic pallets are reinforced with iron bars inside and have a non European standard of 1400 x 1400 mm. 

The robot area  is connected by a joined singulation unit  to the packaging film wrapper machine.
Rolls incoming are mixed as color and SKU and  are identified in an automatic  input station  by a system ID of laser scanners that reads under the polyethylene film to create the link to the pallet location.

In the following station the robot mounted on a brushless motorized slide that is configured as its axis so ensuring  an high speed and sudden acceleration.

Once the pallet of "cross type" for higher stability are completed the  are downloaded and sent with AGC (Automatic Guided Cart) to the docking areas for shipping.

In the facility are managed 8 areas of palletizing for as many SKU by 2 AGVs.

 Successo di pubblico a IPAK IMA dove Siscodata presentava una fabbrica robotizzata nel packaging .Nell'area che simulava il fine linea di imballo di una fabbrica robotizzata ,si alternavano al lavoro ad alta velocita' ,da un delta robot ABB nuovo modello con 8 kg di payload per inserire dolci e prodotti da forno in vassoi ad un modulo di inserimento molto compatto (1.5 metri x 1,5 ) con un robot COMAU Racer che inseriva lattine di olio extra vergine in scatole americane .Un terzo robot Racer mostrava il riempimento di scatole con bottiglie e doypack -buste

Un quarto robot mostrava la palletizzazione delle scatole preparate dagli altri  3 robots e quindi mostrava la possibilita' di utilizzare il robot stesso per un magazzino a 400 posizioni ad alta velocita' di creazione dell' order picking .

L'affluenza e l'interesse sono stati notevoli e anche se a causa della situazione si è notata la mancanza di visitatori da certi paesi in crisi o in guerra purtuttavia l'apprezzamento è stato unanime e le richieste dal mercato italiano notevoli .

Public success in IPAK IMA where Siscodata presented a robotized factory packaging .The area was simulating the end of line packaging of a robot factory, took turns to work at high speed , a delta robot ABB new model with 8 kg payload to enter sweets and bakery trays in an module very compact (1.5 x 1.5 meters) with a robot COMAU Racer999 that it was inserting cans of extra virgin olive oil in American boxes .A third robot Racer was showing the filling of boxes with bottles and doypack -bags.
A fourth robot was shown palletizing boxes prepared by the other three robots and then it was demostrated the possibility of using the robot itself for an automatic  warehouse up  to 400 positions with an high-speed creation of "order picking" capacity .The turnout and interest have been remarkable and although because of the situation there has been a lack of visitors from certain countries in crisis or at war nevertheless was unanimous appreciation and requests from the Italian market significant.

Siscodata has created a new version of her palletizer system in order  to realize for the American market  for  containers 40" a double pallet overlapped of 1.2 meter each of height .The system with this upgrade is in condition to deposit over the first pallet once arrived to one meter another wood  pallet  that the robot will have picked up from the silos .

The resulting groupage it is very stable and the following stretch film application improve again the stability.

 Siscodata ha  recentemente ha creato una nuova versione del suo sistema palettizzatore robotico per realizzare per il mercato americano e container40 piedi un doppio pallet sovrapposto di 1,2 metri di  altezza . Il sistema con questo aggiornamento è in condizione di depositare sul primo pallet,volta raggiunto un metro di altezza un'altra paletta di legno che il robot avrà prelevato dai silos.
Il groupage risultante è molto stabile e la successiva applicazione del film estensibile non fa che migliorare ancora la stabilitàdel prodotto.
