PRODUCTION START at roll packaging plant at WACO TEXAS USA new plant .Avvio della produzione presso il nuovo impianto di confezionamento di rotoli a WACO TEXAS USA .

 Siscodata  ha completato l'installazione dell' impianto POLYGLASS  a Waco Texas USA del Gruppo MAPEI per l'imballaggio robotizzato comprensivo di controllo del peso e di una bufferizzazione oltre alla  formatura e l'inserimento  wraparound di scatole di cartone di grande dimensioni 1400 x 400x400 mm con chiusura a colla e successiva palletizzazione sia in verticale che in orizzontale prima di essere avvolto nel film estensibile ed etichettato .

Una soluzione italiana di high tech completa ,che ora si e' è ulteriormente perfezionata  con l'aggiunta con un secondo ordine , dimostrante a la soddisfazione del cliente per le soluzioni innovative adottate e che ha portato a raddoppiare l'impianto con la linea che gestisce i sotto prodotti dei rotoli come bobine piu' piccole ricavate dalla suddivisione tramite slitter ed il  successivo inscatolamento in cartoni FEFCO 201 formati in loco automaticamente .

Le bobine provenienti dalla  linea precedente vengono quindi suddivise e :

• o vengono inserite nella scatola direttamente da un robot  con relativa pinza di centratura per le bobine ed un altra per il prelievo da un silos di un  cartone separatore
• oppure vengono filmate  in PE e termo-retratte in un forno prima di essere inscatolate 
• successivamente le scatole vengono chiuse e nastrate prima di andare alla palletizzazione finale e al relativo accumulo per il fork lift verso il magazzino .

Siscodata  has now  completed the installation of MAPEI Group's POLYGLASS plant in Waco Texas USA for robotic packaging including weight control and buffering in addition to forming and wraparound insertion of large 1400 x 400x400 mm cardboard boxes with glue closure and subsequent palletization both vertically and horizontally before being wrapped in stretch film and labeled .

A complete high tech Italian solution ,which has now been further refined with the addition with a second order , demonstrating to the customer satisfaction with the innovative solutions adopted and which has led to doubling the plant with the line that handles the under products of the rolls as smaller reels obtained from the splitting by slitter and the subsequent boxing in FEFCO 201 cartons formed on site automatically .

The reels coming from the previous line are then split and :

• either are placed in the box directly by a robot with a corresponding centering gripper for the reels and another for picking up from a silo of a separating carton
• or they are filmed in PE and heat-shrunk in an oven before being boxed 

then the boxes are closed and taped before going to final palletizing  and associated accumulation for fork lift to the warehouse .Here also a short video .

NEW PACKAGING MACHINE FOR HEAVY PRODUCTS - Nuova serie di imballatrici SISCO per cartoni piani FEFCO 0443

 Oltre alla linea completa di cui al post precedente ,è stata sviluppata da Siscodata anche un imballatrice sempre per prodotti pesanti (motori elettrici ) che necessitano di un imballo ecologico e sicuro.Imballo quindi che deve essere estremamente robusto ; per questi prodotti è stata sviluppata un ulteriore versione senza parti in plastica come film o nastri adesivi ,sviluppando un derivato del modello di cartone FEFCO 0443 ,in modo da avere un imballo ecologico e riciclabile.

In questo caso la nuova linea di imballo (upgrade di una precedente di un noto produttore di motori elettrici con peso fino a 35 kg) che utilizza 2 robot con bracci lunghi ed ampia portata  di payload .

Nuovo sistema di imballaggio robotizzato per prodotti pesanti >15kg fino a 50 kg- New robotic packaging system for heavy products >15kg up to 50kg

Sempre attenta alle esigenze dell’automazione, SISCODATA propone nuovi prodotti robot rivolti all'Industria 4.0 e IoT per carichi pesanti.

Un esempio è la famiglia di prodotti di automazione robot industriale  SIS443UP per il packaging avanzato quale la creazione ed il riempimento di scatole con prodotti metallici pesanti quali  motori elettrici o loro parti e bombole di gas CO2.

La tradizionale scatola Americana FEFCO 0201 ha il problema di essere con le falde inferiori chiuse a metà con nastro adesivo, nastro che, specialmente dopo una lunga giacenza in magazzino e con il caldo dell'estate, tende a distaccarsi lasciando cadere il prodotto pesante a terra o sui piedi dell'operatore con possibili conseguenze per entrambi.

La nuova soluzione SIS443UP sviluppata da Siscodata realizza in modo automatico da un cartone piano fustellato, una scatola derivata da una scatola codificata standard FEFCO 0443  in modo da renderla ulteriormente robusta raggiungendo in certi punti fino a 3 strati di cartone ad onda sovrapposti ed incollati con colla a caldo.

La cella robotica viene caricata con un pacco pallet di fogli piani che poi vengono prelevati in stazioni robotizzate successive  e piegate ed incollate per realizzare la scatola finale di estrema robustezza.

La scatola standard FEFCO 0443, già di per sè molto robusta, è stata cambiata in modo da avere il coperchio a doppie patelle superiori a larghezza intera  in modo che sul coperchio vengono incollati addirittura 3 strati, mentre il fondo è ricavato in un pezzo unico e quindi non si può aprire rilasciando il materiale.

La scatola così realizzata ha estrema robustezza ed allo stesso modo il pallet. Il processo di incollaggio poi aggiunge ulteriore rigidità all'insieme che viene poi  reggiato.

Sul fianco inoltre sono realizzati buchi fustellati per la presa manuale. 

Un robot con gripper personalizzabile provvede al raggruppamento in matrice ed  allo inserimento nel cartone formato.

Questo assicura anche una grande flessibilità  nella cella in funzione del cambio prodotto.

An example is the industrial robot automation product family SIS 443UP for advanced packaging such as the creation and filling of boxes with heavy metal products such as electric motors or their parts and CO2 gas cylinders.

The traditional American box FEFCO 0201 has the problem of being with the lower flaps half closed with adhesive tape.

The standard FEFCO 0443 box, already very robust, has been changed to havehas been changed in order to have the cover with double flaps upper double flaps with full width so that on the cover even 3 layers are glued, while the bottom is made in one piece and therefore unique and therefore can not 'open releasing the material.

The box thus realized has extreme sturdiness and the same way the pallet. The gluing process then adds further rigidity to the whole that is then strapped.

Modulo WP - Scatole wraparound di grosse dimensioni / WP module - Extra large wraparound carton

Semplice e versatile con sistema di chiusura wraparound per scatole di dimensioni extra large, il modulo WP consente l'impacchettamento di svariate tipologie di prodotti attraverso l'utilizzo di un fustellato che viene “avvolto e sagomato” intorno al prodotto: si realizza così una scatola compatta e robusta.

Tale macchina si adatta a diversi tipi di contenitori (come tetrabrik, bottiglie in vetro/PP, flaconi, vasetti, confezioni multipack) e formati. La WP Wraparound consente di utilizzare anche fustellati con pre-tagli per l'apertura a strappo realizzando così varie tipologie di scatole (come ad esempio: vassoio aperto, scatola chiusa con coperchio, scatola con coperchio riportato, vassoi con pareti laterali di diversa altezza, vassoi con "bretelle").

La macchina funziona con catena a “facchini” e con spostamento passo-passo per le varie fasi che costituiscono la formazione e chiusura di una scatola:

1. il fustellato viene prelevato dal magazzino e depositato formandolo a "U" tra i facchini;
2. il prodotto viene introdotto nella scatola (manualmente, con robot o con braccio robotico);
3. successivamente viene piegata ed incollata con hot melt la falda superiore della scatola;
4. infine la scatola viene chiusa a destra e sinistra con patelle laterali.

I cambi di formato sono attuabili in breve tempo e la produttività arriva fino a 7 scatole/min. per scatole fino a 1.4 metri di lunghezza e 40 cm diagonale base (produttività che dipende comunque dalla tipologia del prodotto per forma e dimensione e dal tipo di scatola che dovrà realizzarsi). Inoltre, la capacità standard del magazzino fustellati può essere aumentata attraverso un modulo di espansione che permette di caricare pile di cartoni piani come rilasciati dal fornitore su pallet.

Il modulo molto compatto viene realizzato in acciaio Inox (o ferro sabbiato e verniciato a polvere), ha dimensioni limitate e facile accesso ed è dotato di pannello operatore touch screen. Festo, Lenze, Siemens, Schneider, Sick, SMC, Comau e ABB, costituiscono la componentistica elettrica e pneumatica standard del modulo.

Oltre al modulo standard, la serie WP di Siscodata prevede il modulo WP XS Packer robot che consente la realizzazione di matrici, orientamenti particolari dei prodotti, posizionamento di prodotti molto pesanti all'interno del wraparound a mosaico (pattern programmato).

Simple and versatile with the wrap-around closure system for extra large dimensioning boxes, the WP module allows the packing of various product types through the use of a die-cut which is "wrapped and shaped" around the product: a compact and robust box is created.
This machine adapts to different types of containers (such as tetrabrik, glass/PP bottles, flacons, jars, multipack packs) and sizes. The WP Wraparound also works with pre-cut cartons having tear-off opening, making various types of boxes (such as: open tray, closed box with lid, box with lid, tray with side walls of different height, trays with "braces").The machine operates with a "porter" chain and step by step for the various phases of box forming and closing:

1. the flat carton is removed from the warehouse and stored between the porter; 
2. the product is introduced into the box (manually, with robot or with robotic arm); 
3. subsequently the upper flap of the box is folded and glued by hot melt; 
4. finally the box is closed on left and right with lateral flaps.
   

Format changes can be implemented in a short time and productivity reaches up to 7 boxes/min. for boxes up to 1.4 meters long and 40 cm diagonal base (productivity depends, however, on product shape and size and on type of box to be realized). In addition, the standard capacity of the pre-cut warehouse can be increased through an expansion module that allows to load stacks of flat cartons as released by the supplier on pallets. 
The module is made of stainless steel (or sandblasted and powder coated iron), has reduced size and easy access and is equipped with a touch screen operator panel. Festo, Lenze, Siemens, Schneider, Sick, Comau and ABB are the electrical and pneumatic components of the module.

In addition to the standard module, the Siscodata WP series features the WP XS Packer robot module that allows the creation of matrices, product orientation and heavy product placement in the mosaic wraparound (programmed pattern).

Il cartone wraparound viene formato intorno al prodotto posizionato nel cartone da un braccio robotico. Tutto ciò si caratterizza da grande flessibilità in quanto si consente il riempimento del cartone wrap around in diverse matrici e inserendo cartoni interstrato con modalità diverse intervenendo solo sul programma del robot.

The wrap around carton is formed around the product picked in the carton by a robotic arm. The system is characterized by a great flexibility and it allows the filling of the wrap-around carton in various matrixes and the inserting of interlayer cartons in different modes only setting the robot program.

La serie WP15 è costituita da macchine automatiche per il confezionamento di contenitori di plastica, metallo o vetro in scatole di cartone ondulato e/o vassoi senza film. I vassoi possono essere ottagonali o rettangolari, con bordi della medesima altezza o di altezze diverse.

         Le cartonatrici della serie WP raggiungono velocità fino a 60 pacchi per minuto in ingresso, in funzione del modello scelto e del tipo di prodotto.
I formati realizzabili variano in base alla forma, alla capacità ed alle dimensioni dei contenitori; in genere le configurazioni più richieste dal mercato sono: 2x3, 3x4 e 4x6.
