New RRP Retail Ready Packaging and SRP Shelf Ready Packaging system.Nuovi sistemi per la GDO

Siscodata has developed a new system to automate by robotics system the creation and the forming   filling + palletizing  of  shelf ready packages (SRP/RRP) for the retail & supermarket distribution .
SRP or Shelf Ready Packages are composed of two parts: a display tray that will effectively contain and display product at retail, and the "shipper" part of the design that makes the SKU easily identifiable and protects the product through distribution. The studied  part of the SRP quickly tears loose from the display tray at retail for very rapid shelf restocking.

Shelf or retail-ready packaging (SRP/RRP) is a packaging approach that enables to a product to come ready for merchandising or sale with little or no setup or opening. 

Typically an SRP box is composed of a highly printed display tray glued to a brown Kraft shipping container. What makes it unique is that both parts are joined as one but are designed in such a way that they can be easily "popped" apart at the point-of-sale. 

Packaging RRP (Retail Ready Packaging) can increase the profitability of products throughout the supply cycle, from the factory to the shop, ensuring a better availability of the same and ease of supply and, at the same time, a better perception of the product and the brand by consumers.
These packages are therefore a great tool to promote sales and accelerate the turnover of consumer goods on the supermarket shelf.

 
Siscodata ha sviluppato un nuovo sistema robotico per la GDO ed i supermercati per la creazione ed il riempimento + palletizzazione di pacchetti e display pronti per lo scaffale in modo automatico

SRP o Pacchetto Pronto per lo Scaffale si compone di due parti: un vassoio di visualizzazione che effettivamente contiene il prodotto e lo  mostra al dettaglio, e la parte "shipper" del contenitore  che rende la SKU facilmente identificabile e allo stesso tempo protegge il prodotto durante la distribuzione. 

La parte shipper dell' SRP si strappa infatti rapidamente dal vassoio display nel punto di vendita al dettaglio per una  rapida ricollocazione sugli scaffali del supermercato e lella GDO.

FILLING AND ERECTING SUPERMARKET _RETAILS EXPOSITOR - DISPLAY A NEW ROBOTIZED APPLICATION FOR THE SUPPLY/RETAIL CHAIN

This presentation of the new solution for the supply chain  and retail logistic is divided in 2 parts .The first part present the creation of the expositor /display from a silos of 100 carton and from 2 additional vertical silos :one for the wooden pallet  600 x400 mm and one silos for the carton pallet basement .

          The solution it is splitted in two parts .
The first area provides  for erecting big expositor display for the supply chain and retails or tray display capable of overlapping . The erecting  area is working from  flat carton picked up from silos  to create trays or retails display of minipallet size (400 x 600 mm).

A robot of medium size is dedicated to this activity and works in cooperation with some assyst devices to close and glue the bottom flaps with hot melt,open and fold  the frontal part  and finally  fix with glue the wood mini-pallet picked from silos to the bottom .

The activity is monitored by a mutifunction program that tracks all the process on a log.
 Changing automatically the gripper tool the robot can follow a different job for example erect from a flat carton a tray -plateau (see picture).



The system it is able to erect carton trays that can be filled and ovelapped in the second part of the system in a full automatic mode .
Starting from a silos full of hundreds of flat pre-cut carton the robot procedes to applies in the rights points the hot melt glue and later to form in a tunable stamp the tray .
The stamp it is automated and tunable to permit different sizes and shapes .
Once the tray it is formed the robot  takes out the tear off part of the tray to allow a better overlapping locking in the hole 

Questa presentazione della nuova soluzione per la supply chain e logistica al dettaglio è diviso in 2 parti .La prima parte presenta la creazione del espositore / display da un silos di 100 cartone e da 2 silos verticali aggiuntivi: uno per il pallet di legno 600 x400 mm e uno silos per il seminterrato cartone pallet.
La soluzione è divisa in due parti.La prima area prevede di erigere display e grandi espositori per la GDO grande distribuzione e le vendite al dettaglio o la visualizzazione vassoio in grado di sovrapposizione. L'area di erezione sta lavorando da cartone piatto prelevato da silos a creare vassoi o vendite al dettaglio di visualizzazione di dimensioni minipallet (400 x 600 mm).

Un robot di medie dimensioni è dedicato a questa attività e lavora in collaborazione con alcuni dispositivi assyst per chiudere e incollare le falde inferiori con colla a caldo, aprire e ripiegare la parte frontale e, infine, fissarlo con la colla al legno del mini-pallet prelevato dal silos al fondo .
L'attività è monitorata da un programma che tiene traccia mutifunction tutto il porcesso su un log.il robot cambia la pinza automaticamente in funzione dell' attivita' svolta e quindi puo' eseguire un lavoro diverso, ad esempio erigere da un cartone piatto un vassoio -plateau (vedi foto).Il sistema è in grado di erigere vassoi di cartone che possono essere riempiti e sovrapposti  nella seconda parte del sistema in modo completamente automatico.

Partendo da un silos pieno di centinaia di cartoni  pre-tagliati il robot  procede ad applicare nei punti di corretti la colla a caldo e poi a formare in uno stampo aggiustabile il vassoio.
Lo stampo è automatizzato e regolabile per consentire diverse dimensioni e forme.
Una volta che il vassoio si forma il robot toglie in automatico le parti a  strappo  del vassoio per consentire un migliore bloccaggio di sovrapposizione nel foro così creato .

LABEL 500 AND MULTIPACK 500 UP TO 100 PPM

New labeling for lengths over the 500 mm with part for collect packs and application for promotional combo multi pack. Handler horseback over + 500 mm / + 20 " applicator.

Siscodata has created a new label strip issue for labels oversized up to more 500 mm / 20 inches in order to cover a market niche for which, up to now, there were no available solutions.

With the economic crisis, many supermarkets and GDO proceed with continuous new promotions to attract customers price-conscious. One way to attract this customers, increasingly demanding, is to do promotion through combo of multipacks, that is offering an economical and attractive packaging made by 3 pieces for the price of 2 and similar combinations. The package must be multiple and must have possibly a carrying handle (handler) at low price.

These promotions, being occasional and rare, were managed by the GDO through contractors, or by cooperatives who carried out packaging operations manually. During the crisis these campaigns have increased dramatically so the needed to have a fast and cheap way to produce these promotional multipack.

Siscodata has faced the problem deeply. 

Established, after a market analysis, that there was no labeling machine above 330 mm and production lines for such multiple packages, has created both the labeling head able to manage labels up to 500 mm length and the unit of collection and creation of the relative matrix. Labels are managed from the wide side to ensure high speed (from 60 up to 100 ppm max).

At the same time Siscodata created a machine that collects input products (typically from flowpack) and creates the multipack in the quantity and orientation required by the customer marketing department. Then the machine, after having compacted the products, applies the label “horseback” linking them, but leaving the space (through a parameter) to insert the hand.

Nuova etichettatrice per lunghezze oltre ai 500 mm con parte di collezione pacchi ed applicazione per combo promozionali di multipack. Handler applicatore di + 500 mm / + 20 inches

Siscodata ha realizzato una nuova testa spellicolatrice di etichette oversize fino a più di 500 mm / 20 inches per coprire una nicchia di mercato per la quale, fino ad ora, non erano a disposizione soluzioni. 

Con la crisi economica, molti supermercati e la GDO procedono con continue nuove promozioni per attrarre clienti sempre più attenti al prezzo. Un modo di attrarre questa clientela, sempre più esigente, consiste nel fare promozione tramite combo con multipacchi, ovvero offrire con un packaging economico ed attraente di 3 pezzi al prezzo di 2 e combinazioni simili. La confezione deve essere multipla e avere possibilmente un manico di trasporto (handler) a basso prezzo.

Queste promozioni, essendo estemporanee e rare, erano gestite dalla GDO tramite terzisti, ovvero tramite cooperative che effettuavano l'operazione di packaging in modo manuale. Dal momento che, con la crisi, queste campagne pubblicitarie si sono incrementate a dismisura, ecco la necessità di avere un sistema veloce ed economico per produrre questi multipacchi promozionali.

Siscodata ha affrontato il problema a fondo. Accertato, dopo un'analisi di mercato, che non esistevano etichettatrici sopra i 330 mm e linee di produzione per siffatti pacchetti multipli, ha creato sia la testa di etichettatura in grado di gestire etichette lunghe fino a 500 mm sia l'unità di collezione e creazione della matrice relativa. Le etichette sono gestite dal lato largo per garantire un'alta velocità (da 60 fino a 100 ppm max) oltre ad una buona autonomia del rotolo. I manici sono generalmente larghi 1-2 pollici max (20- 50 mm).

Nello stesso tempo è stata creata una macchina che colleziona in ingresso i prodotti (tipicamente provenienti da flowpack) e crea il multipacco nel quantitativo e orientamento richiesto dal marketing del cliente. La macchina, quindi dopo averli compattati, provvede ad applicare a cavaliere l'etichetta riunendoli, lasciando però (aggiustabile tramite un parametro) anche lo spazio per inserire la mano.

EMO FAIR in Milan robotic SISCODATA cell in COMAU booth- Fiera EMO 2015 Milano cella robotica RACER nello stand COMAU

Siscodata ha realizzato per lo stand di COMAU allo show EMO 2015 in Milano, una cella robotica che dimostrava la velocita 'e la precisione del nuovo robot da 3 Kg RACER a 6 assi di COMAU .

La cella dimostrava la manipolazione di cioccolatini  e la loro inserzione in sotto forma di barrette in scatolette open top.La stessa cella distribuiva cioccolatini ai visitatori su richiesta di un pulsante sul pannello LCD di controllo mentre un altro pulsante distribuiva gadget .

 La cella totalmente in acciaio INOX AISI e materiali plastici vuole essere un esempio di future celle dedicati al campo farmaceutico medicale e del food industry .

Il robot RACER 3 è al momento uno dei robot piu' veloci sul mercato e le sue prestazioni si avvicinano a quelle di un robot a cinematica Delta con in piu' il vantaggio di movimenti fluidi e "umani" di un 6 assi

Siscodata has made for booth COMAU at the show EMO 2015 in Milan ,a robotic cell that demonstrated the speed and the accuracy of the new robot RACER 3Kg with 6 axes.

The cell showed manipulation of chocolates and their insertion in the form of multiple bars in boxes open top.The same cell was distributing  chocolates to visitors at the request of a button on the LCD panel control while another button distributing gadgets.

The robot RACER 3 is currently one of the robots fastest on the market and its performance are similar to those of a kinematic Delta robot   in food and packaging applications but with   the advantage of fluid movements and "human"  properly of a 6-axis.

The cell entirely in stainless steel AISI and plastics wants to be an example of future cells dedicated to the pharmaceutical medical and food industry.

Siscodata è lieta di annunciare un nuovo nato in casa COMAU.Comau ha infatti presentato Racer 3, un nuovo robot che è il capostipite di una nuova famiglia di robot piccoli e potenti.  Successo di pubblico a IPAK IMA dove Siscodata presentava una fabbrica robotizzata nel packaging .Nell'area che simulava il fine linea di imballo di una fabbrica robotizzata ,si alternavano al lavoro ad alta velocita' ,da un delta robot ABB nuovo modello con 8 kg di payload per inserire dolci e prodotti da forno in vassoi ad un modulo di inserimento molto compatto (1.5 metri x 1,5 ) con un robot COMAU Racer che inseriva lattine di olio extra vergine in scatole americane .Un terzo robot Racer mostrava il riempimento di scatole con bottiglie e doypack -buste

Un quarto robot mostrava la palletizzazione delle scatole preparate dagli altri  3 robots e quindi mostrava la possibilita' di utilizzare il robot stesso per un magazzino a 400 posizioni ad alta velocita' di creazione dell' order picking .

L'affluenza e l'interesse sono stati notevoli e anche se a causa della situazione si è notata la mancanza di visitatori da certi paesi in crisi o in guerra purtuttavia l'apprezzamento è stato unanime e le richieste dal mercato italiano notevoli .

Public success in IPAK IMA where Siscodata presented a robotized factory packaging .The area was simulating the end of line packaging of a robot factory, took turns to work at high speed , a delta robot ABB new model with 8 kg payload to enter sweets and bakery trays in an module very compact (1.5 x 1.5 meters) with a robot COMAU Racer999 that it was inserting cans of extra virgin olive oil in American boxes .A third robot Racer was showing the filling of boxes with bottles and doypack -bags.
A fourth robot was shown palletizing boxes prepared by the other three robots and then it was demostrated the possibility of using the robot itself for an automatic  warehouse up  to 400 positions with an high-speed creation of "order picking" capacity .The turnout and interest have been remarkable and although because of the situation there has been a lack of visitors from certain countries in crisis or at war nevertheless was unanimous appreciation and requests from the Italian market significant.

  La nuova tecnologia sviluppata da SISCODATA per la sua nuova serie di macchine WP15 permette di avere cambi formati molto veloci  La serie WP15 è costituita da wraparound automatiche per il confezionamento di contenitori di plastica, metallo o vetro in scatole di cartone ondulato e/o vassoi espositori . I vassoi possono essere avere differenti formati , con bordi della medesima altezza o di altezze diverse.

I formati realizzabili variano in base alla forma, alla capacità ed alle dimensioni dei contenitori; in genere le configurazioni più richieste dal mercato sono: 2x3, 3x4 e 4x6. Oltre alle cartonatrici standard, la serie WP prevede anche un modello XS con Packer robot per display espositori , adatto a realizzare pacchi di matrici od orientazioni interne differenti dalla norma. La capacità del magazzino cartoni dei modelli WP può essere incrementata attraverso unità modulari di espansione. Inoltre, tutte le confezionatrici WP dispongono di un sistema elettronico di raggruppamento del prodotto e, a seconda delle esigenze del cliente, vengono fornite con nastro d’ingresso in linea o a 90°. Il cambio formato è veloce e semplice.

I manici sono generalmente larghi 1-2 pollici max (20- 50 mm) .

With the current economic crisis many supermarkets of great distribution GDO proceed with contine new offers to attract more and more customers price-conscious.

One way to attract this customers more and more demanding,it is to do promotion through combo with multipacks, as offering an economical and attractive packaging for example of 3 pieces for the price of two and similar and multiple combinations.

The package must be multiple and possibly have a carrying handle ( handler) at a low price.

At the same time we have created a machine that collects input products (typically from flowpack) creates the multipack in quantity and the orientation required by the customer marketing .Then after being compacted the label it is applied horse back so the label joint and glue them .Thanks a tool the machine leaves also the space for inserting the hand.( adjustable with a parameter)
