Sistema automatizzato per il confezionamento di pacchi 3x2 - Automatic system for 3x2 pack

Siscodata ha realizzato un nuovo sistema per il confezionamento di pacchi composti da 2, 3 o 4 buste di salviette umidificate. Il pacco si compone di buste sovrapposte tenute insieme da un'etichetta adesiva e forma un "pacco promozione".

Tutte le buste entrano nella macchina a "faccia in su" e l'ultima busta viene posizionata nella pila al contrario. La soluzione realizzata raggiunge, come picco massimo per 4 pezzi in ingresso, la velocità massima di 100 ppm.

Caratteristiche della macchina:

• Nastro trasportatore di ingresso: per il trasporto sul lato corto (Short Side Leading - SSL) di buste "a faccia in su" volto alla creazione di una fila di buste.
• Nastro trasportatore ad alta velocità: crea un divario tra le buste (come un separatore).
• Le buste singole possono avere 2 destinazioni diverse attraverso 2 unità pneumatiche: l'unità di capovolgimento (l'operatore può selezionare sul pannello HMI se la busta inferiore deve essere capovolta o meno) e l'unità di bypass (nel caso di anomalia della macchina o di selezione manuale, le buste sono inviate fuori su una pista libera di riserva).
• Nastro trasportatore "diritto": conduce le buste (che arrivano "a faccia in su") nella tasca di impilamento. Per ottimizzare l'impilamento, il nastro si muove su e giù. Tale movimento permette di adattare l'altezza tra le buste piccole e quelle grosse.
• Il pacco (bundle) si ferma sotto l'unità di applicazione dell'etichetta (che fungerà da manico e punto di presa del pacco) e attende in posizione durante l'applicazione della striscia adesiva. Quando la banda adesiva è applicata, il carosello riparte posizionando una nuova pila sotto l'etichettatrice.

La superficie dei nastri trasportatori ha elevato attrito per aiutare le rapide accelezioni-decelerazioni senza che ci siano scivolamenti e rotazioni delle buste.

Grande attenzione deve essere data all'unità di etichettatura, specificamente ingegnerizzata e disegnata per questa applicazione da Siscodata, che consente al sistema di applicare un'etichetta-manico di elevata lunghezza (600-620 mm massimi). E' stata utilizzata una nuova tipologia di etichetta parzialmente ricoperta di colla sui 2 estremi (la parte incollante non si trova nella parte centrale di impugnatura). L'etichetta, su carta adesiva, arriva già tagliata in lunghezza di 600-620 mm, il tubo ha diametro centrale di 3''=75 mm mentre la bobina delle etichette ha diametro massimo di 300 mm.

L'unità di etichettatura è in grado di srotolare il supporto siliconato attraverso un dispenser che mantiene costante la tensione e preleva un'etichetta dopo lo spellicolamento attraverso una pinza con ventose e la muove mantenendo la tensione costante. Il dispositivo ha una speciale pinza "non adesiva" per mantenere in posizione il bordo dell'etichetta ed iniziare in nuovo ciclo conoscendo la posizione dell'etichetta, per facilitare la presa da parte del braccio di distribuzione. Il braccio di srotolamento prende il bordo dell'etichetta dalla posizione conosciuta attraverso un movimento lineare e passa sopra il pacco-bundle mantenendo l'etichetta in tensione: in questo modo la parte non adesiva dell'etichetta andrà posizionata nel centro sopra la confezione multipla.

Come opzione a costo extra, quando il rotolo di etichette è quasi terminato, un sensore può segnalare la fine del rotolo e il sistema può iniziare a lavorare in automatico con il secondo rotolo effettuando lo scambio.

L'unità di capovolgimento è molto importante nella realizzazione di pacchi multipli, usati nella GDO per vendite promozionali, ed ha bisogno di avere le buste superiori ed inferiori senza barcode. Il barcode del pacco multiplo è posizionato sull'etichetta e corrisponde al prezzo promozionale. Questo consente di evitare errori di prezzo nei confronti dei clienti.

L'unità di capovolgimento si compone di 2 nastri di buffer che immagazzinano al massimo 2 buste. L'unità invia una busta nel "canale di capovolgimento" quando richiesto dal programma e la busta cade nella tasca di capovolgimento. Il capovolgimento fa diminuire leggermente le performance del sistema.

Siscodata has realized a new system to apply a label to packs made of 2, 3 or 4 wet wipe bag pieces. The bundle is formed by overlapped bags with special adhesive label that groups them together so to form a promotional combo pack.

All the bags enter in the machine with their “face up” and the last bottom pack is put in the pile reversed. The solution realized performs maximum 100 ppm as top peak for 4 pieces in input.

Machine characteristics:

• Short Side Leading bags “face up” input conveyor: it creates the queue of bags.
• High speed conveyor: it creates a gap between bags (like a separator).
• The singular bag are switched between 2 possible destinations through 2 different pneumatic units: reversing unit (the operator can select on the HMI panel if the bottom bag of the bundle is reversed or not) and bypass (in case of machine anomaly or manual selection, bags are sent out to a spare free slope).
• Straight conveyor: “throws” the bags (staying “face up”) into the stacking pocket. In order to optimize the stacking, the conveyor is tilting up-down. The tilting movement permits to adapt the height between small and big bags.
• The bundle stops under the labelling applying position during the label application. Once the label is applied the carousel restarts, bringing a new bundle under the labeller.

The conveyor surface has high-friction in order to help fast acceleration-decelerations without bags slippery or rotation.
Focus has to be put on the handler unit, specifically engineered and designed for this application by Siscodata, that makes the system able to handle up long handler (600-620 mm maximum). It uses a new type of label only partially covered by adhesive on the 2 ends (it has the adhesive but not in the handle part). The label on adhesive paper arrives with cutted length of 600-620 mm, the core tube diameter is 3”=75 mm while the bobbin diameter is 300 mm maximum.

The labeller unit is able to unwind the siliconate support through a dancing roll dispenser unit that maintain a costant tension and picks up one label after peeling with the vacuum gripper and moves it maintaining the tension constant. The device has a special "not adhesive" gripper to maintain in position the edge of the label to start the new cycle knowing the edge label position, in order to facilitate the grasping by the unwinding distributing arm. The unwinding distributing arm takes the handler label edge from the known position and, with a linear movement, flyies over the bundle pack maintaining the label tension: in this way the handler not adhesive part will be centered over the bundle on the top of the multi-pack.
As option at extra cost, once the label roll is quite terminated, a sensor will detect the roll end and the system automatically starts working with the second label roll making the exchanging.

The reversing unit is important as the combo pack, used in the large-scale retail trade for promotional selling, needs to have the upper and the bottom face without barcode. The barcode of the multi-pack is on the handler and corresponds to a promotional price. This allows to avoid mistakes in the price charging to customers.
The reversing unit is composed by 2 buffer conveyors that stock a maximum of 2 bags. The unit sends a bag into the “reverse channel” when requested by the program and the bag falls into the reverse pocket. The reversing slow down the system.

Siscodata ha realizzato per un Suo cliente un sistema semi-automatico per l'etichettatura di scatolette contenenti lenti a contatto.

I 2 moduli realizzati si compongono di una speciale etichettatrice che applica un'etichetta trasparente con cornice nera “a cavaliere” sullo spigolo a mo' di sigillo sulla scatoletta posizionata manualmente nell'area dall'operatore.
L'etichettatrice, dotata di apposito rullo di avvolgimento, spellicola l'adesivo e lo fa “spuntare” nel punto di applicazione (con apposita regolazione della lingua che spunta); poi manualmente l'operatore, aiutato nello scorrimento da guide, appoggia e fa scivolare le scatolette in battuta verso l'area di applicazione e fa aderire l'etichetta spellicolata e pronta.
Per ottimizzare gli spazi e consentire all'operatore di lavorare senza “impedimenti”, Siscodata ha realizzato l'applicazione posizionando l'etichettatrice sotto il tavolo di lavoro da 600 x 800 mm (equivalente a 1/2 Europallet) con altezza di lavoro 850 mm.
Il prezzo particolarmente contenuto permette di automatizzare questo tipo di operazione.

Siscodata has developed for its customer a semi-automatic system for the labeling of cases containing contact lenses. The 2 modules are made up of a special labeling machine that applies a transparent label with a black frame on the corner edge of the box, like a seal, positioned manually in the area by the operator.

The labeling machine, equipped with a special winding roller, peels off the adhesive and makes it appear at the application point (with appropriate adjustment of the tongue that appears); then manually the operator, helped in sliding by guides, lays and slides the cases along the application area and sticks the peeled and ready label.

To optimize the space and to allow the operator to work without "obstacles", Siscodata has created the application positioning the labeller under the working table of 600 x 800 mm (equivalent to 1/2 Europallet) with a working height of 850 mm.

Its particularly low price allows to automate this type of operation.

Siscodata ha realizzato una nuova testa etichetta spellicolatrice di etichette oversize fino e piu' di 500 mm / 20 inches a coprire una nicchia di mercato per la quale non erano a disposizione finora dispositivi .

Con la crisi economica in corso molti supermercati della GDO procedono con contine nuove offerte per attrarre clienti sempre piu' attenti al prezzo .

Un modo di attrarre questa clientela sempre piu' esigente consiste nel fare promozione tramite combo con multipacchi,ovvero offrire con un packaging economico ed attraente 3 pezzi al prezzo di due e simili combinazioni multiple La confezione deve essere multipla e avere possibilmente un manico di trasporto ( handler ) a basso prezzo .

Attualmente queste promozioni ,essendo estemporanee e rare ,erano gestite dalle societa' produttrici tramite terzisti , ovvero tramite cooperative che effettuavano l'operazione di packaging in modo manuale tramite lavoratori e mano d'opera a basso costo durante il periodo della campagna.

 

Nel momento che con la crisi, queste campagne pubblicitarie si sono incrementate a dismisura ecco quindi la necessita ' di avere un sistema veloce ed economico per produrre questi pacchi promozionali .

Siscodata ha affrontato il problema da differenti punti di vista ,accertato quindi dopo un'analisi di mercato che non esistevano etichettatrici sopra i 330 mm e linee di produzione di siffatti pacchetti multipli ha creato sia la testa di etichettatura in grado di gestire etichette lunghe fino a 500 mm gestendole dal lato largo per garantire un alta velocita ' da 60 a 100 ppm max . I manici sono generalmente larghi 1-2 pollici max (20- 50 mm) .

 

Nello stesso tempo è stata creata una macchina che colleziona in ingresso i prodotti (tipicamente provenienti da flowpack ) crea il multipacco nel quantitativo e orientamento richiesto dal marketing del cliente e quindi dopo averli compattati provvede ad applicare a cavaliere l'etichetta riunendoli lasciando pero' (aggiustabile con un parametro ) anche lo spazio per inserire la mano .

Siscodata has created a new label strip tha it applies labels oversized with a witdh ofmore of 500 mm / 20 inches to cover a market niche for which were not available so far devices.

With the current economic crisis many supermarkets of great distribution GDO proceed with contine new offers to attract more and more customers price-conscious.

One way to attract this customers more and more demanding,it is to do promotion through combo with multipacks, as offering an economical and attractive packaging for example of 3 pieces for the price of two and similar and multiple combinations.

The package must be multiple and possibly have a carrying handle ( handler) at a low price.

Currently these promotions, being occasional and rare, were handled by the companies manufacturing by contractors, or by cooperatives who carried out the operations of packaging ,manually by workers and labor at low cost during the campaign period.

During the crisis these campaigns have increased dramatically here is therefore the need to have a fast and inexpensive way to produce these promotional packages.

Siscodata has approached the problem from different points of view, and then, after a market analysis established that there was no labeling above 330 mm width and lines of production of such multiple packages .Therefore it has created both: the labeling head and the preparation handler applicator.The labeller that can handle long labels up to 500 mm managing them from the wide side to ensure a high speed at 60 to 100 ppm max. The handles are generally large 1-2 inch max (20- 50 mm) ,just the piece to stay in the hand.
